Seymour Hoyt 
Seymour was born on December 20th, 1774 in Norwalk, Fairfield, Connecticut. Seymour's father was EZRA HOYT and his mother was SARAH SEYMOUR. His paternal grandfather was EZRA HOYT and his paternal grandmother is Phebe Benedict; his maternal grandparents were JOHN SEYMOUR and RUTH BELDEN. He had four brothers and three sisters, named SETH, Uriah, Thaddeus, Ezra, Hannah, Polly and Phebe. He was the fourth youngest of the eight children. He died at the age of 89 on February 22nd, 1864 in Richland, Michigan.-
