John HORTON 
John was born on January 30th, 1782 in Rehobeth, , Mass.. John's father was Comfort HORTON and his mother was Joanna WOOD. His paternal grandparents were Jonathan HORTON and Anne MILLERD; his maternal grandfather was Jabez WOOD and his maternal grandmother is Joanna SHORT. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Samuel, Jabez, Philip, Joanna, Sarah and Betsey. He was the second youngest of the seven children.
