Sylvanus HOLBROOK 
Sylvanus was born on August 15th, 1685 in Mendon, Worcs., Ma and his baptism took place in 1691. Sylvanus' father was Peter HOLBROOK and his mother was Alice GODFREY. His paternal grandparents were Thomas HOLBROOKE and Joanna KINGMAN; his maternal grandparents were Richard GODFREY and Jane Or Mary TURNER. He had eight brothers and two sisters, named John, Peter (Jr.), Joseph, Richard, Eliphalet, William, Samuel, Thomas, Johannah and Mary (Holbrook). He was the fourth oldest of the eleven children.
