Thomas HOIT (HOYT) 
Thomas was born on September 20th, 1618 in Upway, Dorsetshire, England and his baptism took place there on September 20th, 1618. Thomas' father was Simon HAIGHT and his mother was Deborah STOWERS. His paternal grandparents were John HOYT and Ruth UNKNOWN; his maternal grandfather was Walter STOWERS and his maternal grandmother is Mrs-Walter STOWERS. He had five brothers and four sisters, named John Sr, Walter, Simon, Nicholas, Moses, Deborah, Ruth, Miriam and Mary. He died at the age of 37 on September 9th, 1656 in Stamford, Fairfield, Connecticut. He was buried in September 1656.General Notes
