John (Blackhead) HELMS

John (Blackhead) was born in 1756 in , Anson, N.c..  John (Blackhead)'s father was George Sr. HELMS and his mother is Mary Margaret FALKENBOROUGH.  His paternal grandparents were Isaac HELMS and UNKNOWN Tilghman; his maternal grandfather is Jacob Or Issac FALKENBOROUGH. He had five brothers and a sister, named George Jr., Jacob, Rev. Jacob, Isaac, Abraham and Phebe.  He was the oldest of the seven children.  He died at the age of 64 in 1820.
