Benjamin was born in 1699 in Taunton, Bristol, Ma. Benjamin's father was Abraham HATHAWAY and his mother was Rebecca WILBOR (PIERCE). His paternal grandparents were John (Nicholas) HATHAWAY and Martha SHEPHARD; his maternal grandparents were Shadrach WILBUR (WILBORE) and Mary DEAN (DEANE) (DANE). He had nine brothers and a sister, named Abraham, Thomas, Shadrack, Ebenezer, Samuel, John, John B, Eleazer, Jacob and Rebecca. He died at the age of 63 on April 21st, 1762 in Morristown, Morris, New Jersey. He was buried in April 1762 in Old Cemetery, Morristown, Morris, New Jersey.General Notes
