Dorothy Hooker was born about 1588 in Marefield, Leicestershire, England.  Dorothy Hooker's father was Thomas HOOKER and her mother was Susan (Susannah) Mrs HOOKER. She had four brothers and eight sisters, named John, Thomas, John, William, Daughter, Anne, Frances, Daughter, Dorothia Or Dorothy, Frances, Amy Or Ann and Elizabeth.  She is the fifth oldest of the thirteen children.
