John De was born about 1304 in , Aldingham, Lancashire, England. John De's father was John De HARRINGTON and his mother is Margaret Or Juliana BURLINGHAM. His paternal grandparents were Robert Sir HARRINGTON and Agnes CANSFIELD. He had three brothers named Robert De, Michael and Thomas. He was the oldest of the four children.
