Thomas was born in 1690 in Stafford, Virginia.  Thomas' father was John Grigsby and his mother is Sarah or Jane Rosser. He had four brothers and a sister, named James, William, Charles, John and Mary Jane.  He died at the age of 55 on May 7th, 1745 in Virginia.
