Joseph GILBERT

Joseph was born in 1701 and his baptism took place on July 27th, 1701 in Hartford, Hartford, Ct.  Joseph's father was John [Joseph] GILBERT and his mother was Elizabeth SMITH. He had two brothers and six sisters, named James, Benjamin, Amy, Elizabeth, Abigail, Mary, Mercy and Mercy.  He was the fourth oldest of the nine children.  He died at the age of 40 on October 7th, 1741 in Hartford, Hartford, Ct.
