Matilda (Maud) Of was born before August 5th, 1102 in , London, Middlesex, England.1   Matilda (Maud) Of's father was Henry I of England and her mother was Edith Matilda Atheling.  Her paternal grandparents were Guillaume I De NORMANDIE and Matilda Countess Of Flanders Queen Of ENGLAND; her maternal grandparents were Malcolm III Of SCOTLAND and Margaret "Atheling" Queen Of SCOTLAND. She had three brothers and a sister, named William 'Duke of Normandy', Richard Prince Of, Robert, Earl Of and Sibyl Elizabeth Queen Of. She had four half-brothers and four half-sisters, named William De, Robert "The King's Son" De, William Prince Of, Rainald De, Maud, Princess Of, Elizabeth Princess Of, Gundred (Rohesia) Princess Of and Rohese Princess Of.  She died on September 10th, 1169 in Notre Dame, Rouen, Seine-Maritime, France.  She was buried in Bec Abbey, Le Bec-Hellouin, Eure, France.
