Barbara's father was John Peter EISENHOWER and her mother was Anna Margaret DISSINGER. Her paternal grandparents were Hans Nicholaus EISENHAUER and Anna Margaretha STRUBLE; her maternal grandfather is Peter DISSINGER. She had three brothers and four sisters, named John Jacob, John Peter, Frederick, Catherine, Ann, Christine and Margaret. She is the fourth youngest of the eight children.General Notes
