Euphemia was born in 1711 in Inchmarlo, Aberdeenshire, Scotland. Euphemia's father was John DOUGLAS and her mother is Agnes HORN. Her paternal grandparents are John DOUGLAS and Grizel FORBES; her maternal grandparents are James HORN and Isobell LESLIE. She had a brother and two sisters, named John, Isobel and Ann.
