Thomas was born on May 10th, 1704 in Dartmouth, Bristol Co., Ma. Thomas' father was Jonathan (De La Noye) DELANO and his mother was Merey (Mercy) WARREN. His paternal grandparents were Philippe De LANNOY and Hester DEWSBURY; his maternal grandparents were Nathaniel WARREN and Sarah WALKER. He had five brothers and five sisters, named Jonathan, Jabez, Nathan, Nathaniel, Jethro, Sarah, Mary, Bethiah, Susanna and Esther. He was the youngest of the eleven children.
