William DAVIS

William was born in 1737 in , Albemarle, Virginia.  William's father was Isaac DAVIS and his mother was Sarah Elizabeth WINSTON.  His maternal grandfather is Jesse WINSTON. He had three brothers and four sisters, named John, Robert, Isaac, Mary, X, Susan (Susanna) and Elizabeth.  He was the third oldest of the eight children.  He died at the age of 36 in 1773.
