Stephen Chitwood 
Stephen was born on March 10th, 1806 in Franklin Co.,Virginia. Stephen's father was Squire Chitwood and his mother was Mary Wray. His paternal grandparents were William CHITWOOD and Susannah Nowlin. He had six brothers and two sisters, named Edmund, William, M. Bostic, Green, Angeran, Leonard C., Elenor and Susan Matilda. He was the second oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 82 on February 21st, 1889.General Notes
