Mary Catherine Carney 
Mary Catherine was born in August 1844 in ,Kanawha,W. Virginia. Mary Catherine's father is Silas Carney and her mother was Lucinda m Fisher. Her paternal grandparents are William Carney and Margaret Bonnett; her maternal grandparents were John Fisher and Lucretia Harrison. She had five brothers and seven sisters, named Elbin C., Charles, Eldridge, John McClellan, William Franklin "Billy", America, Margaret Elizabeth, Lucretia, Nora Alice, Celia Jane, Martha Bell and Sarah Ann. She is the oldest of the thirteen children.-
