John was born on July 7th, 1750 in Of Slimbridge, Gloucs., Eng. and his baptism took place on July 7th, 1750 in Slimbridge, Gloucester, England.  John's father was John CURNOCK and his mother was Hester MALLETT. He had a brother named Thomas.  He was the older of the two children.  He died at the age of 49 on February 8th, 1800 in Slimbridge, Gloustershire, England.  He was buried in February 1800.

‌John and Mary were married in a religious ceremony on June 4th, 1772 in Frampton On-Severn, Gloucs., Eng..  They had two sons and eight daughters, named James, Thomas, Sarah, Ann, Esther, Mary, Phebe, Priscilla, Susanna and Elizabeth.
