Thomas CLAYTON 
Thomas was born in 1710 in Freehold, Monmouth County, New Jersey and his baptism took place in 1710 in Frehold, Monmouth County, New Jersey. Thomas' father was Zebulon CLAYTON and his mother was Mary HARTSHORNE. His paternal grandfather was John CLAYTON and his paternal grandmother is Alice MYERS; his maternal grandparents were Richard HARTSHORNE and Margaret CARR. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Richard, John, Zebulon, Margaret and Sarah Leah (Sarah) (Leha) (Leah). He was the second youngest of the six children.
