Thomas was born in 1530 in Of Leyland &, Whittle, Lancashire, England.  Thomas' father is Raphe CLAYTON and his mother is Mrs-Raphe CLAYTON. He had a brother named John.  He was the younger of the two children.  Thomas is no longer alive.

‌Thomas and Anne were married in a religious ceremony about 1561.  They had two sons and two daughters, named William Claiton Or, Benjamin, Mary and Ann.
