John CLAYTON 
John was born on November 1st, 1679 in Shrewsbury, Monmouth, New Jersey. John's father was John CLAYTON and his mother is Alice MYERS. His paternal grandparents were Edmond CLAYTON and Margaret UNKNOWN. He had three brothers and five sisters, named Zebulon, Joseph, Asher, Rachel, Leah (Lea), Wasse, Sarah and Rachel. He was the youngest of the nine children. He died at the age of 36 on October 3rd, 1716 in Chesterfield, Burlington, New Jersey.General Notes
