Landon CARTER

Landon was born in 1713 in , Corotoman, Lancaster, Virginia. Landon's father was Robert Carter and his mother was Elizabeth Landon. His paternal grandparents were John CARTER SR. and Sarah Ludlow. He had eight brothers and eight sisters, named Robert, Robert, Landon, Charles, George, Charles, Ludlow, George, Sarah, Anne, Lucy, Mary, Sarah, Lucy, Betty and Anne. He had a half-brother and four half-sisters, named John, Elizabeth, Judith, Judith and Anne. He died at the age of 65 in 1778 in , Lancaster, Virginia.
