John Richard Brandon 
John Richard was born on April 22nd, 1825 in Cannon County,TN. John Richard's father was Armstrong Joseph BRANDON and his mother was Sarah (Sally) TENPENNY. His paternal grandparents are Armstrong William BRANDON and Hannah EMIN; his maternal grandparents were Richard TENPENNY and Barbara SCHUMAN. He had five brothers and three sisters, named T Richard, J Andrew, Joseph Armstrong, George Alfred, William, Martha Jane, A Nannie and Mary. He was the oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 65 on July 29th, 1890 in Cannon, TN.General Notes
