Her paternal grandparents were Lewis BURWELL and Lucy (Burwell) HIGGINSON; her maternal grandfather was Anthony SMITH and her maternal grandmother is Martha BACON. She had four brothers and five sisters, named Nathaniel, Lewis, Bacon, James, Lucy, Martha, Jane, UNKNOWN and Joanna. She died at the age of 59 on December 30th, 1734 in Berkeley, Charles City, Va.
