Elizabeth was born in 1625 in Boston, Suffolk, Massachusetts. Elizabeth's father was Thomas BUCKMINSTER and her mother was Joanna ROBINSON. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas BUCKMINSTER and Alice REEDE. She had six brothers and six sisters, named Lawrence, Zachariah, Joseph, Thomas, Larence, Jabez, Hannah, Dorcas, Mary, Sarah, Marie and Hannah.
