Samuel BUCHANAN

Samuel was born in 1758 in Blairlush, Tyrone, Donegal, Ireland. Samuel's father was John BUCHANAN and his mother was Jane Trindle RUSSELL. His paternal grandparents are William Alexander BUCHANAN and Mrs. BUCHANAN; his maternal grandparents were Samuel RUSSELL and Mary WATT. He had six brothers and three sisters, named William, Thomas, James, John, Archibald, George, Sarah, Margaret and Elizabeth. He is the fourth oldest of the ten children.
