Simeon was born in 1779 in Culpeper, Culpeper, Virginia. Simeon's father was Matthias BROYLES and his mother was Eva KLUG. His paternal grandparents were Hans Jacob A BROYLES and Mary Catharine FLEISHMAN; his maternal grandparents were George Samuel KLUG and Susannah CASTLER. He had three brothers and eight sisters, named Ephraim, Matthias, Julius, Rebecca, Eleanor, Ellender, Jemima, Mary Ann, Elizabeth, Grace and Eve. He died at the age of 96 in 1875 in , Washington, Tn.General Notes
