Sarah was born in 1661 in Sherborn, Middlesex, Mass. Sarah's father was Thomas BRECK and her mother was Mary HILL. Her paternal grandfather was Thomas BRECK; her maternal grandparents were John HILL and Frances TILDEN TILESTON. She had three brothers and eight sisters, named John, Nathaniel, Samuel, Mary, Mary, Susannah, Susannah, Bethiah, Hannah, Hannah and Ester. She was the third oldest of the twelve children.
