James BALLOU 
James was born on April 25th, 1761 in Cumberland, Providence, Ri. James' father was James BALLOU and his mother was Tamasin COOK. His paternal grandparents were James BALLOU and Catherine ARNOLD; his maternal grandfather is Daniel COOK. He had five brothers and four sisters, named Seth, Silas, Oziel, Russell, Daniel, Olive, Susannah, Tamasin and Priscilla. He was the fourth youngest of the ten children.
