Johnnie Paxton was born on March 29th, 1863 in <, Anderson, Tex>. Johnnie Paxton's father was George Washington BAINES and his mother was Melissa Ann BUTLER. His paternal grandparents were Thomas BAINS and Mary MCCOY; his maternal grandfather is Neely BUTLER and his maternal grandmother was Amy Arina OZIER. He had six brothers and two sisters, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named Thomas Nealy, William Martin, Joseph Wilson, George Washington II, James O'Neal, Taliaferro, Mary Elizabeth, Annie Melissa and Taliaferro. He was the youngest of the ten children. He died at the age of 2 in May 1865 in Fairfield, Freestone Co., Tx.General Notes
