William ASHTON

William was born in 1625 and his baptism took place on April 10th, 1625 in Whalley, Lancashire, England.  William's father was Ralph ASHTON and his mother was Eleanor SHUTTLEWORTH. He had nine brothers and two sisters, named Richard, Alexander, Thomas, Nicholas, Radcliffe, James, John, Edmund, John, Anne and Johanna.  He is the second youngest of the twelve children.
