Ernest was born on October 7th, 1877 in Provo, Utah, Utah. Ernest's father was Josiah Thomas ARROWSMITH and his mother was Magdalina MOSER. His paternal grandparents were James ARROWSMITH and Ann ROBINSON; his maternal grandparents are Christian MOSER and Magdelena DUMMERMUTH. He had six brothers and five sisters, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named Joseph F., Christian, Hyrum, Heber, David, Albert, Christen, Amanda, Lillie Edna, May, Florence and UNKNOWN. He was the sixth youngest of the thirteen children. He died at the age of 65 on February 12th, 1943 in Salt Lake, Salt Lake, Utah.
