Toulouse. There were also four daughters of this marriage; names not known/

He married Cunegonde, and by her had ason, Pepin of Peronne, born in 817/818, died in 892, who was deprivedof the throne of Italy by Emperor Louis, the Debonaire, and received apart of Vermandois and the Seigneuries of St. Quentin and Peronne. Alay abbot in 840, he was the father of Herbert I. de Vermandois, borncirca 840, died 902, Count of Vermandois, who married Beatrice(Bertha) of Morvois, a sister of Robert I., King of France, ancestorsof a line of Vermandois counts, leading in two paths to William theConqueror; and Pepin de Senlis de Valois, Count Berengarius ofBretagne, who was living in 893.
