Royalty for Commoners is considered reliable. It lists authorities at the end

ITTA DE METZ, daughter of ARNOUL DE METZ and ORA DE SAVOIE: NOTE: While G. Andrews Moriarty in his Plantagenet Ancestry ...(pp.7,8) records the ancestry of Iduberga (Saint Itta) as you see it here,
he says that the pedigree is "by no means thoroughly
established." Two recent writers, Szabolcs de Vajay, in 1966 (See de Vajay.R) and Grant Michael Menzies in 1985 (see Augustan Society Omnibus, Book 8, pp. 118-121) tentatively offer alternative
lineage developed around extensive German research of
recent years. Menzies is curretnly refining his work and if acceptable in its finality would shed considerable new light on the subject. Detlev Schwennike (EH I:2), 1980 research, does not accept
the traditional lineage and suggests no alternative -
