Hersent was born in 0860 in Lorraine, France.1   Hersent's father was Charles UNKNOWN and her mother was Ermentrude D'orleans.  Her paternal grandparents were Louis UNKNOWN and Judith Von Andechs; her maternal grandparents were Eudes-Odo UNKNOWN and Engeltrude De Paris. She had seven brothers and six sisters, named Charles, Karl, Carolman, Pippin, Louis, Drogo Of The, Lothar, Rothilde, Judith, Rotrude,, Ermentrude, Hildegard and Gisele. She had a half-brother and two half-sisters, named Charles, Roheut (Rothaut) and Rothilde.  She died at the age of 55 in 0915 in Hainault.


Hersent's family with Régnier Longicullus De Hainault

‌Hersent and Régnier Longicullus were married in a religious ceremony in 0887.2   They had two sons named Régnier and Giselbert (Gilbert).
