Diarmait Na-Ngall was born in 1110 in Leinster, Ireland.1 Diarmait Na-Ngall's father was Donnchad Macmurchad and his mother was Orlaith Ingen O'breannan. His paternal grandparents were Murchad Macdiarmait and Sadb Ingen Macmuirteatach; his maternal grandparents were Gillamichil (Cinaed) Macechmarcach O'breannan and Uchdelb Niccearnaichen O'gairbite. He had a sister named Enna. He was the younger of the two children. He died at the age of 61 on May 1st, 1171 in Ferns, Co. Wexford, Ireland.1 General Notes
