John Hamilton 
John was born about 1561 in Lettrick, Scotland. John's father was John Hamilton and his mother was Margaret Lyon. His paternal grandparents were James Hamilton and Margaret Douglas; his maternal grandparents were John Lyon and Janet Keith. He had two brothers and a sister, named Edward, James and Margaret. He was the oldest of the four children. He died in 1637.General Notes
