Cuthbert was born in 0740.  Cuthbert's father was Bassa Duke Of Mercia.  His paternal grandfather was Cynereow Duke Of Mercia.  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 56 in 0796.

He had three biological sons and a biological daughter, named Cenwulf, Ceolwulf, Cuthred and Cynefrith.
