Thomas was born on May 20th, 1178 in Carbonierres, Savoy, France.1   Thomas' father was Humbert De Savoy and his mother was Beatrix De Macon.  His paternal grandparents were Amadeus De Maurienne and Matilda (Maud) D'albon; his maternal grandparents were Gerard De Mâcon and Maurette De Salins. He had three half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Henry VI Caesar Hohenstaufens Of Sicily, Emperor Of The, Frederick, Philip, Beatrice and Clemencia.  He died in Aoste, Isere, France.2 


Thomas' family with Margaret Beatrix Von Geneva-Faucigny

‌Thomas and Margaret Beatrix were married in a religious ceremony in May 1195 in Chambery, S, France.1   They had five sons and a daughter, named Amadeus, Thomas, Peter, Boniface, Phillip and Beatrice.
