Richard Basset

Richard was born in 1081.  Richard's father was Ralph Basset and his mother was Daughter Of Robert De Buci.  His paternal grandfather was Thurston 'The Norman' Basset; his maternal grandfather was Robert De Buci. He had four brothers named Thomas, Thurstan, Nicholas and Gilbert.  He was the second oldest of the five children.  He died at the age of 65 in 1146.

They had three sons named Geoffrey, Ralph and William.
