John CAYLEY 
John was born on October 7th, 1730 in St. Petersburg, Russia. John's father was Cornelius CAYLEY and his mother was Elizabeth SMELT. His paternal grandparents were Cornelius CAYLEY and Ann TYRWHITT; his maternal grandparents were Leonard SMELT and Grace FRANKLAND. He had two brothers named William and Edward. He was the second oldest of the three children. He died at the age of 64 on July 9th, 1795.General Notes
