Sir Hugh du Plessis 
Sir Hugh was born about 1236 in Arundel Castle, Sussex, England. Sir Hugh's father was Sir John du Plessis and his mother was Christina de Sanford. His maternal grandparents were Hugh de Sanford and Joan de Noers. He was an only child. He died on July 7th, 1292.General Notes
Hugh de Plessets, who, doing his homage in April, 1263, had livery of the manors of Oxenardton, Kedelinton, and Stuttesdon, co. Oxford, which were his mother's inheritance; the two former being holden of the king by barony, for which manors in the 48th Henry III [1264] he paid £100 for his relief. This feudal lord m. Isabel, dau. of John de Riparius, and dying in 1291, was s. by his son, Hugh de Plessets.
