Harm Hinrich was born on April 27th, 1838 in Rorichum, Ostfriesland, Germany. Harm Hinrich's father was Hinrich Hindkerk Willems Willemssen and his mother was Mareka Antoni Hassebroek. His paternal grandparents were Willem Janssen Willemssen and Frauoke Janssen Bruns; his maternal grandparents were Antoni David Hassebroek and Etje Janssen. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Jan Hindkerk, Ulfert Hinrich, Nicholaus Willems, Hinderk Wilhelm, Etje and Frauoke. He was the second youngest of the seven children.General Notes
