Thomas was born about 1491 in Parish of Wings, Buckinghamshire, England. Thomas' father was Sir Thomas Wheeler and his mother was Joan. His paternal grandparents were Henry Wheler and Mary Elizabeth Cole. He had ten brothers and a sister, named John, Thomas, Edward, William, Henry, Henry, Richard, John, Obadiah, Richard and Alice. He was the third oldest of the twelve children. He died before 1555.-
