James H. Venable 
James H. was born in 1734 in Hanover County, Virginia. James H.'s father was Abraham II Venable and his mother was Martha Hannah Davis. His paternal grandparents were Abraham Venable and Mildred Elizabeth Lewis; his maternal grandparents were Nathaniel Robert Davis and Abadiah Lewis. He had six brothers and three sisters, named Hugh Lewis, Charles, Nathaniel E., William, John S., Abraham Bedford, Ann, Elizabeth and Mary. He died at the age of 80 in 1814 in Shelby County, Kentucky.-
