James I Stuart 
James I was born in December 1394 in Dunfermline, Fifeshire, Scotland. James I's father was Robert (John) III Stuart and his mother was Annabella Drummond. His paternal grandparents were Robert II De Bruce Stuart and Elizabeth Mure. He had three brothers and four sisters, named John, David, Robert, Margaret, Mary, Elizabeth and Egifia. He had three half-brothers and a half-sister, named John, Andrew, Robert and Marjory. He died in Perth, Perthshire, Scotland.General Notes
Ruled from 1406 til 1437. He had been imprisoned in the tower of London 19 year
crowned on May 21,1423 "Stewart."
He was assasinated by Sir Robert Graham his uncle.
James & Joanna had 2 sons and 6 daughters.
He was taken prisoner while on voyage from Scotland to france in 1405.
One source says he married Joanna in 1438 at St. Andrews, Fifshire.
