William Stapleton

William was born in 1432 in Wighill, Wiltshire, England. William's father was John Stapleton and his mother was Margaret Norton. His paternal grandparents were Sir Miles De Stapleton and Johanna Ufflete; his maternal grandparents were Richard Norton and Elizabeth Tempest. He had five brothers and four sisters, named Miles, John, Thomas, Christopher, Brian, Elizabeth, Isabella, Katherine and Agnes. He was the oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 71 on December 16th, 1503 in Battle of Floden. He was buried in Wighill, Wiltshire, England.
