Johann Jacobs Soorholz

Johann Jacobs was born on October 12th, 1826 in Flachsmeer, Ostfriesland, Germany. Johann Jacobs' father was Claas Classen Soorholz and his mother was Taalke Alberts Jacobs Roskam. His paternal grandparents were Claas Reinders Soorholz and Neone Loerts; his maternal grandparents were Albert Roskam and Gesche Koller. He had a brother and five sisters, named Klaas Reinders, Gaesche Claasson, Neone Klaasson, Wobke, Alberdena and Klaasina. He was the second youngest of the seven children.
