Elias Powell 
Elias was born in 1734 in Orange County, Virginia. Elias' father was John Powell and his mother was Mary O'Neal. His paternal grandparents were John Powell and Mary Coghill. He had five brothers and two sisters, named John, Joseph, Robert, Benjamin, Elijah, Anna and Elizabeth. He was the oldest of the eight children. He died in Burke County, North Carolina.-

Ambrose was born in 1756 in Burke County, North Carolina. He died at the age of 71 in October 1827 in Maury, Tennesee.
