Cyrid was born about 0925 in Uppsala, Sweden. Cyrid's father was Olaf "Mitkg" Bjornsson and her mother was Ingeberg Thrandsdatter. Her paternal grandparents were Bjorn "the Old" Eriksson and Ingeborg Thrandsdotter; her maternal grandfather was Earl of Sula Thrando. She had a brother and a sister, named Styrbjorn "the Strong" and Gunhilde. She was the second oldest of the three children.-
